There are many options for the readings at Mass on this feast of All Souls. If they sound familiar, chances are you’ve heard them at more than one funeral. May our prayers this day be directed to those who gone before us…may they rest in peace.
Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
The saints inspires and encourage us to embrace our faith in Christ as we face the challenges of life. May we live our days on earth so as to be ready to join them in Heaven!

As an added note: please keep our Cathedral Centennial Campaign in your prayers! If you would like to help us and learn more, you can go to our website at http://www.superiorcatholics.org and under the Cathedral page click on the Centennial link.
Christ calls the Twelve Apostles, who become the foundation of the faith we have received. May we continue to build upon the efforts of those who have gone before us, adding to the household of God and providing for those who will follow after.
In the spiritual battle of life we equip ourselves with the protections provided by the armor of God. May we embrace these gifts and use them each and every day.
