The Lord speaks with great clarity that persecution and hardship will accompany us as disciples, even as we trust in the Lord for the grace and strength to overcome them.

As the Lord empowers the Apostles for their work, he gives them some insights into how they are to do it.

Jesus calls the Twelve by name and empowers them to do mighty deeds in His name. May we never forget that the Lord continues to call each of us!

The compassion of Jesus shines through the various aspects of His earthly ministry, inviting us to offer our lives today as we carry on the Lord’s work with loving hearts.
