Jesus teaches that he has come, not to abolish, but to fulfill the Law and the Prophets. As we follow the Lord with all our hearts we pray that his saving work will flourish within and through our lives.

On this holy night Christians around the world celebrate the great events of salvation history as we acknowledge our part in God’s great love story. May we embrace what we have been given and share it with one another!
In the midst of adversity, we keep our gaze focused on the Lord and offer our lives in service to him. In this way we choose a life rooted in Christ, the source of our wisdom and strength.
Paul’s Letter to the Philippians offers a rich insight filled with joy and hope: The Lord is near! May Christ’s presence in our lives encourage us to embrace the gift of faith and live it in the world.
The Psalm response exhorts us to call upon God for the strength we need, especially in moments of difficulty, distress, and oppression. May these words inspire us now and always to call upon the Lord!
The two widows in the readings today make great sacrifices from the little they possess. Their example invites us to consider what sacrifices are we willing to make in our lives today.
When the going gets tough, the tough turn to the Lord! The Psalm response articulates the source of our strength, especially in difficult moments in life.
