St. Luke, the writer of his Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles, demonstrates how there are times in our lives when we are called to lead and other moments when we need to follow as we live our faith in the context of daily life.
On this feast of St. Timothy and St. Titus, we discover that these two studied and learned about Jesus while following St. Paul, so that they could one day lead others to the Lord.
Amidst the temptations and deceits that come before us in the messy moments of life, we echo the vigilant cry of the Psalmist: “Lead me Lord, in your justice.”
