In the First Letter of John, the apostle shows how from his own eyewitness experience he desires to pass on the Good News of hope that we have in Jesus Christ.

The birth of Jesus, the Light of the World, brings strength, hope, understanding, and joy to our lives. May we open our hearts to the Lord’s light and shine with his love! Merry Christmas!
As Jesus is baptized, the Father’s voice is heard from Heaven, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” May these words inspire us to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.
As the Magi encounter the Christ child in Bethlehem, their example inspires us to continue our daily journey to Jesus, guided by the Lord’s light through this life to our Heavenly home.

John the Baptist proclaims that Christ will baptize with the Holy Spirit. As we follow the Lord today, may we call upon the Spirit to draw us into a deeper, fruitful union with the Lord and one another.
