We commend our beloved dead to the mercy of God, praying for the repose of their souls and mindful that we embrace the precious gift of life, for one day we will join their ranks.

On this day we pray for all our beloved dead, and keeping in mind the somber thought of mortality, we reflect on our lives and make whatever adjustments are necessary for the day the Lord calls us out of this world.

As we remember the Faithful Departed on this All Souls Day, we humbly pray for all our loved ones who have gone before us, entrusting them to the mercy and compassion of God.

Yesterday’s celebration of All Saints inspires us today to pray for All Souls. We remember our faithful departed and commend them to the loving mercy of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. On this sober feast we recall that one day we will all make the journey from this life to the next, and we ask God for the grace to carry on.
We remember all the faithful departed today, following the command of Jesus to pray always for one another to God who is Lord of the living and the dead. May they rest in peace.
