1st Reading – Deuteronomy 26:4-10
Moses recalls God’s mighty works that freed the people from slavery in Egypt.
Inspired by this memory they now bring forth the firstfruits of their produce to honor the Lord in the Promised Land.
Psalm – 91:1-2,10-15
“Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.”
We place our trust in God, who sustains us when we are in distress.
2nd Reading – Romans 10:8-13
If we confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him, we will be saved.
This salvation in Christ is available to all, there is no distinction between Jew and Greek.
