Fr. Andrew,
As usual, you have presented three important aspects in our daily Christian life. Your presentation is excellent and is a great guide for all of us. Thank you for responding to God’s call to share your inspiration. However, as I have mentioned in some of my previous replies, you don’t mention the power of the Holy Sprit, as a guide to following Jesus to the Father. The Holy Spirit is given to us to help us live our lives in following Jesus, as you know. Your teaching this Sunday provides good direction and guidance, but you seem to place the burden on the individual’s own actions and reviews without mentioning that we really need God’s guidance. In my personal experience, I have found that the Holy Spirit’s guidance, when followed, helps me to guide my daily actions according to God’s will nd direction for me. Our parish is sponsoring a Life in the Spirit Seminar with talks (teachings) by nationally recognized people involved for 40-50 years with the Charismatic Renewal. It will be held from Sept 12-Oct 24 at St. Mary’s church in Minong from 6:30-8:00 pm. It would be wonderful if you or others from your parishes could join us.
Thank you again for your ministry and service to our diocese and the broader church.
